GR7 (Ti-0.2Pd) titanium alloy is an excellent corrosion-resistant titanium alloy, which is an α-type titanium alloy obtained by adding a small amount of precious metal palladium to industrial pure titanium. The addition of palladium not only significantly improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy in a reducing medium, but also improves its corrosion resistance in an oxidizing medium. The crevice corrosion resistance of the GR7 alloy is optimal in various high-temperature, high-concentration chloride-containing media.
